A Boy Named Tsunami takes great pictures of Roller Derby. If we could have a team photographer on the payroll it would be him. Here are some highlights from the Rogue bout in Fayetteville, NC. I looked through them and wondered if there was a trend. Especially this picture

Are we a small team? I don't think so, it's just the match up between Jammer and Blocker that looks so scary. Does it matter how small you are when you can get your body to do this? She's almost horizontal. Incredible.

SC State Championship!

We're getting ready to host South Carolina's first roller derby championship- Capital Punishment on April 26! We'll be playing the Richland County Regulators and the Low Country High Rollers (Charleston, SC) in a double round robin format. That's SIX 30-minute bouts!

There are some changes in this bout. It'll be a long day so doors open at 3:30 and it'll probably go on until 9pm so come when you can! We're charging $12 in advance and at the door to help pay for the extra police, EMT's and other people that help make our bout possible.
